“The Talk” is here to help you! It’s a set of questions designed to help you in your intimate encounters so that you and your partner(s) can get on the same page.
Before you start, take a moment to ask some of these questions to one another
Relationships
What is your relationship status? What agreements do you have with other people? How will that affect our time together?
Desires
What would you like to experience or explore together? What do you generally like in intimate connections?
Boundaries
What things are off the table in general and today in particular? Are there any parts of your body that don’t want to be touched? How do you want to prevent STIs and unwanted pregnancies?
Safer Sex
When did you last get tested for STI? For what did you get teseted and what were the results? Have you had unprotected sex since?
How worried are you in general about STI?
Meaning
What does it mean to you if we have sex? How would you feel if you see me connecting with other people later?
Fears
Is there anything right now that makes you anxious or nervous and that you’d like me to be aware of?
Aftercare
What helps you feel good and grounded after sex? What are your wishes for communication afterwards?
